aquasp I already have set the development environment in solus, but I still not having the .yml file that I saw in packaging article. But even after having it created, I can't build from source, right? To convert a .deb what would I need? Thanks!

In the top right, we have this search box thing, it's basically magic, but shhh don't tell anyone! It tends to help us search for answers that may have already been answered. But you didn't hear this from me, I'm not a technical wizard. Also, hope one of those links helped you, if not my apologies I don't have experience with .deb packages, I either get my applications from the Software Center, flatpak/snap, appimage, etc. Good luck!
aquasp Scotty-Trees Thanks for all the links, but none of them solved for me 🙁 I want to be a package maintainer for slimbook battery (if they even accept it), but slimbook has no source code yet and its distributed jut by a .deb

There's no need to take such a smarmy, condescending tone with someone asking a valid question.
Justin aquasp Ask them to open source it or provide it in a universal format like AppImage/Snap/Flatpak.
Justin aquasp At your own risk, sure. You're writing into system folders and one wrong command and your system can be toast. 😃
