Intel 3168 WiFi: Read this before updating

DataDrake Good luck Datadrake! I am glad I have AMD hardware, which seems to play better with Linux.

Off-topic but i'll just point out that historically Intel has always been good at supporting Linux, also AMD does not make their own network chipsets. Odds are you have something from Intel or Realtek for networking even if you went AMD. Example I have AMD hardware, I chose a motherboard that uses Intel for its networking instead of realtek as Intel tends to have less issues.

Harvey I am not sure, my motherboard didn't have wi-fi capability. I had to buy a wi-fi dongle and just looked out for "Linux Support" on the box.

installed new current kernel + 2 others (3 updates just now) piggybacked in this new update for me. reboot. played around with folders/apps for 5 min. all fine. fyi.
