C0FFEE marc0tjevp what if we just want to add boost? I cant control any of these equalizers functions
sangheeta Hello, I take this opportunity to say that there is a lua script equalizer available for gnome-mpv. It is necessary to create a file with a text editor in .config/gnome-mpv/scripts/equalizer.lua where we put the script from this page.
marc0tjevp sangheeta Nice! I assumed @C0FFEE wants something system-wide though. I just discovered Lollypop has a built-in EQ.
sangheeta marc0tjevp Yes, I understood that @C0FFEE was looking for a system equalizer, but as we can do a lot of things with gnome-mpv (youtube, bandcamp, soundcloud, movies, music...), that can be enough.
rockycse21 Thanks @sangheeta For this new information. In software center i only found PulseEffects. That's why i am using it. It detect almost any sound related software. Such as spotify, vlc & firefox. My question is after save the "equalizer.lua" is it show on start menu?
C0FFEE sangheeta what about system-wide? like spotify, vlc, chrome every application can use it. Also activate this bass mode only when headset is connected. Is calf plugin pack for jack is necessary in this case??
sangheeta C0FFEE I have no idea Otherwise, for those who want to have the gnome-mpv equalizer permanently enabled with custom equalization , we need to modify the script as follows: Set to true for local start_keys_enabled (line 16) and modify the frequency levels, before }}, that we would have previously defined (lines 23 to 27). ⚠ keybindings are on by default
marc0tjevp C0FFEE You can enable your effects system-wide in the menu. I'm not sure if it works, but you might be able to select a different output for ALSA for your headphone jack.
