I cannot mount SMB shares from my NAS under Solus. With OpenSuse this works flawlessly.
When I use the same command, i get an error:
$ sudo mount -t cifs -o username=xxxx,password=yyyy,vers=2.0 //192.168.1.2/media /mnt/media/
mount: /mnt/media: mount(2) system call failed: Operation now in progress.
$ dmesg
[ 425.476805] CIFS: Attempting to mount //192.168.1.2/media
[ 435.931327] CIFS VFS: Error connecting to socket. Aborting operation.
[ 435.931333] CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -115
My NAS uses SMB protocol v2, so enabling legacy in smb.conf is probably not the solution.
Also, I can mount the shares on Solus using AFP..
