How do I upgrade GRUB?

I've recently just installed Solus 4.0 as a personal 30-day Linux challenge, and I've noticed that GRUB looks massively different from what I'm used to (as I'm coming from Ubuntu and Windows 10 (unfortunately))?

Frosty420 In the top navigation bar of this site, there is a Docs section. You'll find some more info in the Installation section. You may also find some useful tips in the Troubleshooting under Boot Management.
This is a good starting point, then if you have further questions, just ask around ! 🙂

Solus does not use Grub assuming you are using EFI. Solus uses clr-boot-manager.

To update clr-boot-manager run sudo clr-boot-maanger update

If you are using a BIOS based board then sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg "might" work.

I find clr-boot-manager nicer than grub for EFI systems. (Much simpler)

Astilex5 I'm using a Lenovo Ideapad 330 with AMD Ryzen 3 and Radeon Vega Mobile graphics. I've set everything to use a legacy boot, and finally figured out how to do my dual-boot system so my professor doesn't yell at me for not using Microsoft Visual Studio, haha! (Don't tell him but I still use Atom at home XD)
I've figured out all my problems with GRUB, and have it customized to my liking. Thank you for your help!
