dschinn1001 IT seems that suspend Mode Has a little Bug. IT goes down to energy saving Mode, but IT shuts down USB Harddisk completely, so that USB Harddisk is switched off. I then have to Start machine New, because solus is installed in USB Harddisk.
JoshStrobl dschinn1001 I then have to Start machine New, because solus is installed in USB Harddisk. This isn't a supported configuration, so not really something I think any of us are going to put any attention to, to be honest. Solus targets one thing and that's installation onto actual hardware.
dschinn1001 JoshStrobl IT was 4 weeks ago, before bigger Update with gnome, that suspend Mode of USB Harddisk was no Problem. After Update over 3 weeks ago - suspend Mode of USB Harddisk changed to Mode of completely shutdown.
dschinn1001 Okay... But Normally suspend Mode should not shut down USB Hard disk... IT might be in mode of readiness... I know this of other Distros. ... No offense. (Well - I stay loyal and Kindly put back Harddisk into sata3 Port.)
JoshStrobl dschinn1001 IT was 4 weeks ago, Just because it worked doesn't mean it was ever a supported configuration. We do not support USB installations.
dschinn1001 JoshStrobl It is okay, when you dont support an USB-installation. (Microsoft did this too before Windows 10). In the meantime I found out, that new re-installation of Solus on different USB-harddisk solved this little "bug". Suspend modus of USB-harddisk is working again. This thread is solved.
