I noticed this distro a bit ago and installed it on both my machines, trusting it'll be maintained.
In the past week 2 of the 4 (as far as I'm aware) core devs have left.
Is this distro still viable, or is it better that I start looking for a new one. 🙁 Really concerned here. 😢

As mentioned by Peter, he has not been actively involved since the beginning of this year and @Girtablulu has been handling not only KDE and Qt updates like a champ, but ensuring the Plasma Desktop experience is up to par with our standards.

And while I do not wish to diminish Justin's involvement since the beginning of the project, his involvement for the last 12-18 months has been primarily engaging on the old forums, Reddit, and our Flarum.

You should not expect any impact in development with the departures of one (Justin) and the stepping down of another (Peter). Bryan has long been handling infrastructure pieces like ferryd, I've been handling Budgie + GNOME for some time now (even before Ikey left) and will be expanding that to other aspects of the ecosystem as time permits. Joey has been handling toolchain updates and performance improvements, Girt has been handling Plasma+KDE+Qt, @kyrios has been actively improving the MATE experience under Solus and engaging with third-party developers such as the developer of the user-admin management tool to ensure the MATE ecosystem as a whole benefits, Ermo has been continuously improvement Samba and ensuring media servers like Kodi work flawlessly.

Is this distro still viable

No offense but I think this is a loaded question given where you're asking it.

JoshStrobl Sorry, I did not mean to pose a loaded question. I was just extremely concerned. But as you explained, everything's is ok. So I don't need to worry. Thanks for the reply.
