Hi,
Displaylink every now and then releases new drivers for linux (for Ubuntu Variation).
https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/ubuntu
I am a very new linux user and I don't know how to get it to work for Solus. I saw other forms where there are installing dkms as a dependency.

From other forms what we learnt is Solus doesn't have plans to go with dkms. So can you help me how to get this to work. I am using below device to connect to my dual monitors.

And if there is a way solus team can develop some tools that newbies like us use, it will be very much helpful.

    a month later

This was mentioned once in the old forum and the general consensus was that dkms will not be supported by Solus as it, 'would cause more problems than it would solve'. I'm not sure what the current dev teams opinions are on this but if there was any way of supporting DisplayLink I would be able to use Solus as my daily driver at work which would be much appreciated.
