I want to help out the solus community. I have been reading posts on building packages and in one it was suggested to start with maintaining packages first to get the hang of the system before you build.
My experience level is only a few months as having linux as my daily. In that time I taught myself how to install arch linux and getting it to boot into a graphical environment. I have become more comfortable creating and editing files using nano. Using this forum I was able to figure out how to build my WiFi network driver and have it work. I would really like to learn how to maintain and build packages for solus. I really like this distro and I love the budgie desktop.
Where would I start when it comes to learning how to maintain a package. Suggestions on things I will need to read up on when it comes to package management. Thank you for any and all suggestions!
