What Is Your Favorite Music Player?

Audacious and DeaDBeeF, but i am not too fond of either.
I long for a day when foobar2000 is ported to Linux (if that ever happens). That player is godly, and sadly i haven't find one on Linux that would have similar functionality, customization and interface like foobar. DeaDBeeF comes close in some ways but still doesn't feel like a viable alternative.

I think I tried every other music player in the repository, once I found this I stopped looking. Very happy with it.

I hardly ever launch a music player, but when I do I just use the default Rhythmbox, or sometimes Spotify.

I have a lot of local music so I use Rhythmbox for that. If I want to stream pandora I use Pythos.

Boggle247 I miss Pithos. Pandora removed their streaming service from Australia and to this day I'm still dirty about it. ☹️

I don't digitally store music anymore as in an organized library. Don't know why. Time, perhaps.
G-Radio player, or youtube website, as my music players running through built-in budgie/pulse and traveling to nice, amped, altec speakers----bliss for me.

What's wrong with youtube-dl? Only thing that hasn't been synced to the stable repo is the update I packaged today, but that one didn't contain any youtube-related fixes.

Staudey Ton of weird terminal errors last time I ran it and non-functional. It was linked to a known issue I read about here, a week or two ago.
I ran it just now: works perfect. Please find my last sentence in error in that previous post.

Justin Off topic on the decision by Sirius to strip the great region of AUS/NZ--in my reading at least. A 2017 Forbes article blames it on "foreign" regulations but I have a hard time believing that subscriptions (profit) didn't exceed overhead in your area. In other words, baffling to me. Maybe there are underseas cable politics or overseas cloud stuff I know nothing about.
All I know is enjoy your radio alternatives. Their middleman, the genome project, had no algorithms that could satisfy my tastes, anyway. Play the Velvet Underground, next song up is Dido.....(frowny face here)

I like lollypop, and tauon. But I do have trouble sometimes with lollypop! I've tried to set up Deadbeef but never could get it to look the way I like.
