kyrios There are only 3 choices: webkit/blink gecko/servo obsolete/dead things like presto/trident 😛
AlucardNoir Girtablulu Haven't you read Kyrios' reply? there are only three choices. Since Terminal browser aren't based neither on Webkit/blik nor Gecko/Servo that means they're in the obsolete category.
yursan9 My favorite is always Firefox! But, currently I've been using Qutebrowser. Because I like how I can easily customize the browser colorscheme and the vim keybindings.
lvanderwiele yursan9 If you want to customize the colour scheme, I recommend you take a look at the Firefox Colors extension
EbonJaeger In a perfect world, I'd have a browser like Vivaldi with the Gecko rendering engine and without all the random stuff it has that I'll never use. With vertical tabs. In the real world, it's pretty much gotta be Vivaldi.
DNI_R I really like Vivaldi, and love the fact that it is included in repositories with Snapshot version, which i use. Really great browser with cool ideology behind it to offer as much customisation and functionality as the user needs. Sad, that it's closed source (if i am not mistaken?).
cdorin DNI_R Well, it is pretty hard to make money if you develop an open source product (working in such company). However, they provide full transparency and only small bits of code are close-source such as the features they provide on top of the "chromium base". Also, the closed source code can be read by anyone so there is no privacy-related problem.
Solarmass Can't select two options. Firefox and Vivaldi. BTW thanks for the Vivaldi snapshots in the Software Center and weekly updates!
[deleted] Brave, because it consumes less ressources for me than firefox. And i can use the citrix workspace app (google chrome app) which i need
fishyman65712 [deleted] - - - Had I not been in hear wandering around the forum and seen this topic with your post I never would have know about ( Citrix ) ! ! ! Heck ya now I don't have to wait until I am at work to check on Job Applications , or use work related e-mail. I will need to go do some reading now. THX Again sol2maz
justoneprimate I literally JUST changed from Chrome to Vivaldi after reading this poll, and testing it out! So much better...
justoneprimate XerXes I never really had any 'issues' with chrome. Of course, I had to install noscript and adblock extensions to keep it in check. But the overall Google philosophy had me considering moving on anyway. Snoople.
Max_The_Bear Otter, for the Qt theming, and great potential. It does crash a lot right now for me though... I use Firefox whenever Otter doesn't work.
