Also downloading Proton directly through the "Tools" section of Steam might help. Sometimes it doesn't load correctly, especially after updates.

I've been able to get some logs. And I've uploaded them to pastebin. You can find them here. One line that has caught my attention has been this one:

I'm not sure what it means, but it repeats a few times in different parts of the log.

Try running the verification (last button) on the game. It can be found by right-clicking the game in your library and going to properties.

It's far stretched, but is the game installed on an EXT4 or NTFS filesystem? If it's on NTFS, it might be causing some problems.

Junglist I have already that packages installed, no difference at all. It's installed in an EXT4 filesystem.

abnazhor Same thing happens to me as well, and I get a very similar output to your log. I did not change anything, so I am as baffled as you are as to why this is happening now ^^ " I will have to dig a bit deeper into the logs and see if there is a library version change or anything (or if a Proton update broke things or not).

abnazhor I did change my CPU from a Ryzen 2600 to a Ryzen 3900X. You think it is a Destiny 2 sort of situation? I also reinstalled my OS though, so maybe there was a change there. But I don't remember doing anything special last time I ran the game via Proton. It was more of a plug and play situation.

Did you try with Lutris via Wine Steam? I remember that working before as well.

arkhenius There you go. I have a Ryzen 3000 too, and other people that have Ryzen 3000 are experiencing the same problem. I guess we'll have to wait for a kernel update....

abnazhor So this issue happens on Windows as well then? If so, we will likely have to wait for the BIOS fix that will fix Destiny 2 (the rdrand instruction issue).

arkhenius I don't know, I just use Solus so I'm not sure if it works on Windows. As far as I know, we'll probably have to wait for a kernel update to get Ryzen 3000 support. In the case of Destiny, I'm not sure if this is affecting it too.
