What is the spec of your Solus machine?
Ehh, I could do with an upgrade, if zen 2 would hurry up and release that'd be great because this money is burning a hole in my pocket.

This is Willow my dual boot machine, but I almost entirely use Solus now. Don't even have windows on an ssd anymore. This is the second cpu mobo, and case I've run Solus on, but everything else was scavenged from my original Solus Machine, plus an extra 10 year old hard drive from my very first computer to give me a little extra space.

I'm on an "oldie but goldie" AMD FX-8350 machine w/32 GB RAM that I use as my Solus dev box.
I recently bought a used RX 580 for my nephew's birthday and decided to test it before putting it in his hand-me-down 1080p gaming PC consisting mostly of old parts belonging to me. He's currently borrowing an old HD 7970 GHz Ed. of mine, so I'll just swap out the cards.
Why AMD GPUs you ask? Because I run KDE day-to-day and need to be able to use the virgl Mesa OpenGL acceleration option with my KVM-based virtual machines (Solus GNOME/Budgie) when testing out the Samba stack that I maintain. And AMD supports FLOSS, so...
As an aside, DXVK worked great on the RX 580 w/Lutris. Imagine that.

And here is my Evaporation Cooled monster! Here is a video I made about this silent cooling:
It is still dual-booting Windows 10, because the game support is still not great, and HDR doesn't work on Linux.

Only thing missing is Optimus support for online-switching the GPU between nvidia and intel.
And only (known) quirks are with the Bluetooth adapter not recognizing my Sony bt headphones as HD audio. Actually, support comes and goes, so I suppose it's a kernel thing

Wow, great to see all these machines. Mine runs Solus exclusively on bare metal. Sometimes use VBox for fun. Smooth sailing with Solus for over 6 months now. Respect!
