kyrios It's only insane dependent on the use case of that operating system. I just use mine to watch youtube videos and play video games. If someone infected me with ransomware or stole information, I'd be fine. This is why it should be optional, because no two people are going to be using the system the same way.
I understand what you're saying, but I guess my point is that there should just be a disclaimer and/or strong recommendation but ultimately allow us to do what we want. We are not children.
Just my opinion though, I'm no system admin or software designer etc. And this is obviously not a project of my creation, so I'm grateful for the work you guys have put into it. I'm going to stop now lol.
