Clearing package cache?

I am a new user and this os is amazing. I have never experienced an easier initial setup with any linux distro. Budgie is fantastic, all hardware was recognized on Dell Inspiron 3000 out of the box and all the benefits of a rolling release. Amazing!

The only information I can't find is how do you clear package cache to preserve disc space? I am coming from Deepin which does this automatically.

Yeah eopkg has a lot of shorthand for options like that, eopkg --help or man eopkg to see more.

RE: Automatically deleting cache. Solus does this too, to quote the man page for eopkg:

   delete-cache (dc)

       Clear out any temporary caches still held by `eopkg` for downloads
       and package files. These are automatically cleared when using the
       Software Centre but you must manually invoke `dc` if you only use
       the CLI approach to software management.

Just use : sudo eopkg delete-cache

Simpler command is: sudo eopkg dc
