EbonJaeger Clear Boot Manager (clr-boot-manager) has been updated to 3.7.0. This release buys users with 512 MiB EFI partitions some time by doing the cleanup before installing the new kernel. This is safe because the currently running kernel (i.e., last known working) is never removed.

I almost thought something was wrong when I did the update as the last part went so fast, then I actually read the post. That was a great QoL update, because honestly that got kind of annoying that it often took longer than the the rest of the update on my Plasma systems.

Everything updated smooth as ever only faster.

RexFactorem that exact error, according to https://ostechnix.com/fix-flatpak-no-such-ref-error-flathub-linux/, can be cleared with 4 commands:

Clear temporary files: sudo rm -rf /var/lib/flatpak/repo/tmp/*
Remove cached refs: sudo rm -rf /var/lib/flatpak/repo/refs/remotes/flathub
Run system repair: sudo flatpak repair --system
Clean unused packages: flatpak update && flatpak uninstall --unused

unsure that /var/lib is the place Solus keeps the flatpak tmp though…you might have a peek

The update went well. Matebook D15 + gnome.. Matebook D15 is known to be a not so linux friendly machine, but solus is the only one that has worked flawlessly on that machine. Good job guys

Does the change in the manpage db handling means that we should wait a bit before restarting after an update? Or will it resume cleanly after the restart?

elusian hmm good point, yes, I'm pretty sure it will get interrupted.

bear in this it only affects man -f and man -k functionality so not the end of the world

We may tweak things with this in mind

Use Solseek. It will prompt you when it is time to reboot.
