alfisya I booted Fedora Rawhide from usb with the same version of ghostscript, and everything works fine there. Any ideas?

Postnozet No idea. I don't think we do anything special with our ghostscript package. That is why I suggested filing a bug report upstream. They might be able to give pointer. If they mention anything we can do on Solus side, please do tell.

I'm not sure what is going on, but I couldn't boot to Gnome today and when I checked broken packages, it throwed something like "Unable to read file ...package/ghostscript.../files.xml"

Edit: It looks like I have the same problem with a lot of other packages...

Updated after a couple weeks of not doing so, on plasma, and rebooted. Had some weird display glitches (amdgpu), looked like the entire display buffer was flickering to the right or left every second or two. Shut down the PC completely and they went away. Chalking it up to something about the reboot/update not completely resetting my video card or something.

paracetamol Was considering to open an issue with GDM for that, as a GDM dev had stated last year that while X11 is gonna be removed completely from GNOME, GDM will still be capable of starting X11 sessions properly.

Turns out someone else already created such issue.
Fingers crossed for that they will fix it.
