As I reported before - lock screen doesn't turn my monitor off like it was on Budgie x11.
Today I turned monitor manually in locked mode for many hours.
When I turned it on, lock screen scaling switched from 200% to 100%
After login there was no panel and scaling was 100%.

To fix this I had to open terminal and kill budgie-panel to bring it back. And set scaling back to 200.

I can confirm I am getting the same, Libreoffice when closed, the icon on the budgie taskbar still remains even tho the application is closed.

I don'r know if Solus thinks this is a Budgie issue or I should bring it up at Budgies or this is a Libre issue?

Probably a LibreOffice thing, but what is not a LibreOffice thing is that pinned application icon is still highlighted in the budgie taskbar even when the application has been close, saying that this is only true if it is the last application that was closed.

infinitymdm Running MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=0 firefox lets firefox access my yubikey and other hardware (such as microphone for zoom calls) without crashing.

Firefox appears to be working with my yubikey on a different machine after the latest round of updates. I'm not sure at the moment whether it's an issue with that desktop or if perhaps the updates fixed it. Will report back when I've tested on the machine where I had the issues again.

my employer requires me to duo login now with a yubikey. I haven't set it up yet. I asked my tech guy "is it Linux-compatible?" and he said "good question"….

brent My employer also uses Duo. Works great with my yubikey. I've not had any issues with it on Solus (outside of those discussed here, which aren't really issues with Duo).

It's like some weird L.O./Taskbar notifier that for no reason hoards your document history to the taskbar, refuses to close, and shows you everything you opened, even if you opened it twice. Sometimes it closes when you quit LO, many times it doesn't. It irks me as a monument of needless clutter then sometimes disappears.

I've never seen a taskbar document tally hoarder-tracker before and I've been Linuxing a decade. Some wires are crossed somewhere. but we are still testing 🙂. I can't thank you enough for seeing it too

New issue on my home PC today! Occasionally, when the computer is locked and the screen has entered power save mode, budgie-panel appears to forget which desktop it lives on. There's no coredump, so it's not crashing. Journalctl output shows messages like this:

May 12 15:59:55 summit budgie-panel[1604]: manager.vala:420: No monitors detected. Skipping panel repositioning.

I can fix it by opening Budgie Desktop Settings and moving the panel to a different position; then everything works fine until the next time I leave my system locked for a while.
