Just a question I've been pondering. I know anbox is available but has anyone ever gotten Android apps to run on Solus? Like games for instance?

Anbox I got running once by compiling the two kernel modules and using the snap but most apks I found didn't run very well if at all. I lost interest and haven't tried again since.

I guess it's pretty hard figuring out a way to run them. I have tried in the past with other distros, but I never had much success either. It's too bad as I think the ability to run android apps would be really neat on Linux and might even attract more users that are hesitant to make the jump over to Linux. Oh well. It's not really necessary. Too bad Bluestacks is windows only.

linny Yeah it's not exactly polished right now. I'd love to be able to play some of my Android games on my PC but alas maybe in time it'll be easier to do.

mlyonet Sorry I didn't really document the process properly. I may come back and try Anbox again in the near future so keep an eye on the forums as I'll put up a tutorial if I make one.
