Are you sure you don't have a problem with the sudoers file in EndeavourOS instead of a Wayland problem?

also you were kinda wrong....in endeavour arc-dark and qogir-dark are the default themes. Qogir-dark itself, as you said it would, in fact did not do anything for the White Top problem at all--the stock distro was born with the white top problem.
but what you were absolutely right about was Qogir is key.... yesterday I switched from stock qogir-dark and for the halibut I changed it toqogir-light.

To my surprise all the white tops disappeared. POOF. And for "-light" it lightened nothing, which was good.
We solved the White Top problem together 🙂.

Yes I will trash that pocillo AUR package I copied.

That all said I prefer the pocillo dark better than qogir so I will gladly wait for 10.10.2 as far as Endeavour goes.

after using End. as a backup the last three years I've never had this problem.
What would a a perfect sudoers file look like exactly?

Did you find a solution yet, whether it be the sudoers file or something else entirely? To be honest, I don't trust Arch-based distros because of stuff like that and the fact that they don't test packages much if at all.

I forgot to put that on my list 🙂 ! (no didn't go any further with that one) but thank you for asking.
Never had an arch problem with permissions before. but arch does change stuff up a lot.

No more Wayland for a few days, back in X11 where it's smoother.

So far I did (and Buddies did) solve a few things.
Unsolved stuff:
*will not shutdown or logout. you press all the boxes but it just sits there until hard shutdown...(This is Intermittent)
*press the WIN key to get menu and you can't type write into it. No cursor. Have to touch with pointer..(This is Intermittent)
*ironically gnome-system-monitor froze on Tues. and I could not get a PID to do a terminal KILL. That one's rich...(not a bug)
*Nemo can't access the Solus drive ("another process is blah blah") so I can't easily drag stuff over (This is Intermittent).

I's rather have BROKE I think because you can fix broke. Intermittent is Schrodinger's Bug--- a process half alive and half dead at the same time. Much harder to troubleshoot without massive debugging.

Still I'm pretty happy having got a taste of it, and still looking forward to Budgie 10.10.2 and even 11 in Solus.

UPDATE---If I can make Endeavour Budgie 10.10x work every day then I can do the same in Solus....

Figured out enough kinks to make them go away.
Some kinks went away on their own (finally getting a pin 'heart' for mullvad flatpak browser after a couple weeks without and I did absolutely nothing).
Some stuff became intermittent (win key/typing in menu).
Some stuff I haven't fixed yet (LibreWriter documents accumulate in dock and can't be shut down--they don't close--worse yet is libre .sbin is not in system-monitorto kill nor is "writer" "office" etc--you can't kill what's invisible.)

But this post is really for the X11/Wayland discussers...

Videos (fps) are the same, and music and movies, and how the OS renders is the same.
So much bad PR is absolute BS when it comes to graphics.
X11 still superior only because Wayland still can't do some really simple day-to-day things that X11 can (in Budgie). But it can do 90% of them and will close the gap.

I was always (am still) a 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' person but Wayland ain't broke, it's almost there.

It's kind of a thrill that my Solus adventure of this long still continues----on to unstable repo 🙂 when I get the time
