My Session App opens but the chats do not appear.
Does anybody have some kind of solution for Session Desktop App?
It is a Flatpak.
I have tried uninstalling, Reinstalling, Repair, but nothing seems to fix the problem.
I am on Solus KDE Plasma.

Your best bet is to run flatpak run network.loki.Session -v or flatpak run network.loki.Session --enable-logging -v and show the errors.

I tried both your commands, and get a lot of Errors.
Then Session opens with a blank page.
I do not know what to do with all the Errors.

penny-farthing On my two systems of Solus Budgie I get the same "Broken" message for linux-current, but I also get a hang-up:

❯ sudo eopkg check | grep -i broken
Checking integrity of linux-current                                  Broken
The following packages are broken:

Then nothing. I have to ^C if I want to go on.

I made a change to eopkg awhile back so it will prompt you at the end of the check to ask if you would like to reinstall any broken packages it found.

That means this monstrosity is no longer neededsudo eopkg check | grep Broken | awk '{print $4}' | xargs sudo eopkg it --reinstall

So don't use grep and you will actually see the prompt and it won't appear like it has stalled.

You need to check the logs. If they don't make sense to you, just throw them on some pastebin and paste the link here (10-20 lines will do).

It might be enough to just clear the GPUCache folder in: ~/.var/app/network.loki.Session/config/Session/GPUCache.

Try running flatpak run network.loki.Session --disable-gpu, maybe that will reveal more.

I ran this ; flatpak run network.loki.Session --disable-gpu
And it opened Session, and I could log in. I closed it and tried to use the app directly, but it would not load. Used the same command and it opened. Looks like the gpu must be disabled to make it work. Then I went to App Permissions for Session and disbled some functions that were turned on. And cleared the var cache. I tried opening Session again, and it worked. It even let me do an update, and it works!

Cherry-picked budgie-session fix.

This is for the autoscroll crash that has existed for quiet awhile now with firefox and its forks. After updating you will need to restart / relog for the fix to work.

Hi! Unfortunately this update did not go well for me. It looked like it all went through fine, but after a reboot my screen just stays black.

I followed the steps for a rollback from the wiki, but this also didn't do the trick 🙁
Any ideas how to see the error as a first step?

For starters, it would be helpful if you wrote what graphics card you have: inxi -G. And if it's a GeForce, then eopkg li | grep nvidia.

Yes, I even rolled back 2 numbers because there was one additional update step at the same time of the update that broke the system

Budgie laptop update did not go well lots of red I dont have time to mess with it right now.
I was not paying attention not sure of all the errors.

Updates went great. Love that Solseek has the update notice service. I didn't realize that at first, but I enabled it to test it out this week and disabled notifications in Discover and it let me know! No reason to uninstall Discover, but for me, IT is the back up 😉

I used Solseek to update my Gnome box with 92 packages updated and no problems. Also used it to update my Plasma laptop with 99 packages updated and no problems there either. Love the way Solseek lets you see what is happening with the updates
