All good on one machine Plasma noticed an error with Brave in eopkg but after reboot Brave seems to run ok.

64 Packages updated. Everything still works like expected.

Minor issue during initial boot (shutdown). Not sure if related to this process. Added photo. No persistent boot logs for a complete dump, sorry.

Opera crashes sometimes, and it still does with this update. (did eopkg check opera-stable, fixed it one time but crashes continue occurring). KDE.

But updates seem went well overall.

There was a significant update to scx-scheds / scx-tools which I am guessing could theoretically result in issues until you have rebooted after updating as the guts are ripped out from underneath the scheduler. So long as it doesn't happen again I would not worry.

that's the one ( scx-scheds) that threw a bunch yellow file conflict errors for me which historically have been 100% harmless.
Mine in no way resembled that output in that picture,however, fwiw.

Unrelated to the other users issue, everyone will get these conflict warnings. scx_loader was split out of scx-scheds upstream so its a new package and ownership of those files was just changing. Nothing wrong.

All good for me on my 2 systems. Wife is also now on Solus as her Windows 10 laptop was not upgradeable to Windows 11, so I used the excuse to introduce her to Solus. She just does email, browsing, and light office docs. She has had no issues. She also said to tell the Solus team she like their logo as well.

Do the devs have any long term plans for sudo-rs? I believe Ubuntu already includes sudo-rs in the short term releases, and is aiming to include it(and Rust versions of the coreutils) in the 26.04 release.

I'm not someone who is fundamentally opposed to adding Rust incrementally to the kernel and core programs. I actually like Rust from the very limited amount I've used it, and I'm trying to learn more.

flanier Looking at the original PR it looked like it was more for testing and validation then. So not sure if there are plans beyond that at this point.

Probably will move to sudo-rs at some point since from memory its what AerynOS uses already, but it would require more staff testing before we make such an important change.
