Macbook Pro 2015 - Facetime HD Working

Hi again,
Managed to get the facetime HD camera working on the MBP using the guide here:

You will need to install gcc and binutils before starting.

Tested working in Google Meet.

You should also have an eye on CPU temp and if fans are working properly. Some Macs require mbpfan for this. I had to install this on my parents iMac:

Thanks for that, I don't suppose your parents iMac had a fusion drive did it. I'm considering converting a 27" 2015 2tb i7 to Solus. Ideally I would switch out the HDD for another SSD and use it for the home directory leaving the original SSD for OS.

If it was a fusion drive I'd be interested to hear how it went and what you did.

You are welcome. I am not familiar with fusion drive. My parents actually still use a 2007 iMac! Kind of still works. The only thing that was done over the years was upgrading RAM and replacing the HDD with a SSD.
Though I consider the old iMac being on life support.
