Considering Solus

Hi!

I have been considering to give Solus a try. I have ROG Zephyrus laptop with integrated AMD 780M and NVIDIA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Max-Q. Has anyone experience on using Solus on such hardware?

I would be using Solus mostly for gaming and writing etc.

dinomonster Probably your best first move would be to get your choice of Solus Edition written to a USB drive and test drive Solus in it's Live environment. See how it behaves on your machine. Nothing is installed to your PC at this stage and it gives a good indication of what to expect.
A quick search for discussion regarding the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Max-Q graphics card on the Solus forum returned nothing relevant. This could mean that it does not play well or that there are no problems, I don't know which. At this stage there is only one way to find out.
