Thank you very much, great work. We can say that we now have a replacement for Solus-SC with more features.
Adding Flatpak is a great idea; it's much more complete this way.
I might suggest an idea in memory of Solus-SC, I'll use GitHub.

@Original-Syn I just found out about solseek when reading the sync update forum post today. As someone who has used the PacUI helper script to manage software on my laptop running EndeavourOS for years, this is right up my alley. You've done a great job with solseek. I prefer to do my software package management in the terminal, and this makes it much easier on Solus. Thanks for all the work creating this tool.

After today's update, I installed solseek from the repository, and I am liking a lot what I see. It feels almost like a GUI app! Kudos to you, and thank you very much for your work.

Good little util used it when I fixed my packages just to try it out worked great.

I tend to perform package installations and updates via eopkg in terminal. But I use solseek almost every day to search for packages. Especially since I don't see a way in GNOME software to search the Solus repo only. You get mixed search results containing flatpaks and eopks. I don't like that. I want to check the repo first, and then check for flatpaks separately. Also, solseek shows all packages in repo. It's really a great asset in the Solusverse already. You truly filled a gap with solseek.

while this has become a valued tool for searching our repo and seeing installed packages etc I never used it to install anything until today since I prefer CLI (no GUI middleman so to speak).

It was easy. For anyone reading: this was the closest you are going to get to a pure CLI package install since it's the eopkg wrapper built over the cli.
I agree with all the others who said this covers a needed void very well.

My goal was to make use of the great work the devs do with eopkg. I figured no need to reinvent the wheel. The usage of the native eopkg was always how I wanted this to work. Same with the next version (which is now testing in unstable) with flatpak. It is using all native commands.

Interesting and probably necessary inclusion here. You will utilizing flatpak list and flatpak update -yetc.

For me the turnoff of gnome-software was the blending of these separate entities when I just wanted see what Solus had (...but I understand the majority of users would probably love a single list.)

It is separated. I use a combination of flatpak list and flatpak remote-ls for getting both installed and available packages. It functions in a very similar way as the current eopkg list, minus I don't separate installed and user installed as it is not nearly as much installed by the system.

If enough people want, I could make a combined search at some point as well, but it does get a bit more complex that way. Trying to keep things simple and light, and that may always be the case.
