Filelight reporting out of space with Brave running and disk has free space

Strange order of problems but first Brave tells me to clear data for sites as matrix wont work properly. Then filelight shows a warning popup "0 bytes available in root'. Yet I have a widget checking free space on the main panel and when I open Dolphin is also shows 30.1GiB free. The 30GiB free is constant on the widget. Any ideas?

Yeah, saw you on Matrix as well. That is a bug with Brave. I would report it to them. Honestly, it is one of the reasons I don't use Brave. I like the adblocking but had issues like this with certain sites over the years. You could try using another browser as well to see if it follows.

Now reported to Brave Github tracker. Will switch to Chromium for the time being and see if it can be reproduced on that browser.

So far so good on Chromium. I noticed with Brave RAM use spike up to 20GB now and again. Memory leak? Haven't seen that on Chromium.

banger We do certification tests at my company for our clients. Brave is by far the most issue prone of the Chromium browsers due to the changes they make. It is a solid browser in general, but it does tend to have more problems.
