mikilinux I have found that, in general, the Linux crowd is more open to using Firefox and its forks than Mac and Windows users. You still see that Chromium based is still leading, but it is much closer. Some of it is also because people like to use Statcounter as some true measuring stick, which is just not a great resource since it is on less than 0.5% of all websites and none of the top million sites, and it is blocked by ad blockers. Don't get me wrong, Firefox is a small percentage and shrinking, but that site is simply not a great resource. Anyway, I digress.
For me, the browser is a tool. I like to use Firefox, but the fact is I do run into problems with it on sites that I need. So I use a mix, which works well for me. I chose Vivaldi over Brave simply for personal reasons. I just have a bit more respect for how they handle things. Brave is a solid browser, and I cannot fault anyone for choosing it.
I do appreciate discussions like this, so thanks for getting it going!
