Good evening,
Does someone know if it exist a model of USB wireless which works with Solus and will not be " too " difficult to install and maintain?
I have Solus installed on a HP pavilion with a " Ralink corp. RT3290 Wireless 802.11n 1T/1R " as Wireless card, which doen't works very well.
Thanks for a potential great advice
Wireless USB Solus friendly?
Avoid wireless modules that have a chip that require an out of (kernel) tree module.
Intel chips are well supported, but many others are as well.
TP-LINK TL-WN725N works perfectly out of the box; I have the v2 and v3. TL-WN821N doesn't work at all. Unless, I suppose, you compile and install the driver.
Just tested my old Tenda W311U
in Solus and it detected my wireless networks, etc. See if there's a newer version of that maybe.
