I know I seem to be mainly Plasma with most of my posts, but that is actually a more recent thing for me. I was actually more on Gnome and XFCE for a long time, depending on the system. I had used KDE back before the disasterous launch of KDE Plasma 4 rolled out, which, to be fair, got much better at the end. Switch to Gnome and XFCE. Then Plasma 6 came out, and it had features I wanted and was ahead on the Wayland side. It took me a while to get into it, but now I really like it. I do still like Gnome and XFCE, but I have moved to KDE Plasma and Budgie for most things. Budgie is more on my VMs and lower-spec systems.
I have also played around with COSMIC on AerynOS and it is interesting but not ready for prime-time.
Solus has actually become my favorite distro for Plasma. It is one of the most lightweight and performant setups of Plasma.
