Unable to read file: file not found on upgrade or install

Hi all,

It seem's I am having an issue with updating my system, or installing new packages.

I ran the upgrade command and I restarted without realising - rookie mistake, right?

So, I've tried to repair and I was wondering if there was a way to repair the following error. the file is there as I can see it ..

% sudo eopkg check

your identical error in both, and both are solved but depends on your skill level/comfort. I've used Solus a long time and have accomplished some hairy things but not sure I would try unless I had a pint of lager and some ibuprofen.

but some easy 'try this' type troubleshooting also in these threads (sudo eopkg rdb, etc)

Open the terminal and execute each line separately.

mkdir fix && cd fix
wget https://cdn.getsol.us/repo/shannon/k/kf6-kcoreaddons/kf6-kcoreaddons-6.15.0-23-1-x86_64.eopkg
uneopkg kf6-kcoreaddons-6.15.0-23-1-x86_64.eopkg
sudo mkdir /var/lib/eopkg/package/kf6-kcoreaddons-6.15.0-23
sudo mv metadata.xml files.xml /var/lib/eopkg/package/kf6-kcoreaddons-6.15.0-23
sudo eopkg rdb
sudo eopkg up
cd && rm -r fix
