File managers all crash w/ GNOME

Hello all,

My original install used the Budgie desktop. A few months later, I decided to add GNOME. There are no issues with Budgie, but when I use GNOME the file manager crashes--regardless of which manager I use. I am just curious if anyone has some recommendations for me to resolve the issue.

amit025 Honestly, to resolve install Nemo.
I recently installed Gnome, bypassed nautilus, and immediately installed Nemo. This was the rec'd plan in Budgie.
I think Nautilus has been unstable for years (just like my opinion man), but most every day users and the maintainer would likely dispute me.

amit025 Have you tried launching from the terminal to see if there are any errors that pop up? You said "regardless of which manager I use", so just curious which ones you have tried?
