Regarding what @Harvey said, there is never a way to guarantee stability. A Linux distro is made up of so many different pieces all from different projects. So it is always a case of when not if something will happen.
With that said, I have run many distros over the last 3+ decades, and how those distro teams manage the project can certainly contribute to how stable it is. But even the most stable of distros will have something happen that causes issues for users at some point. Even with the venerable distros like Debian.
I primarily run Solus and EndeavourOS at this point. EOS mainly for tinkering and Solus for what I consider an ideal blend of newer packages and stability. Both are excellent distros and like anything have the pros and cons when comparing, but if I decided to go one distro it would be Solus.
To that point, I find Solus and the team behind it to take a very pragmatic approach to how they release packages and updates. As mentioned, it is a more curated process and I truly have grown to appreciate that approach. To a point that Solus was able to replace Fedora as my main work system at work where I run my own business which is literally how I make money to support my wife and kids. I did not take that move lightly. I have started to expand and do my gaming and everyday use on Solus over the last several months, and I have no regrets. If there are issues, you are in great hands with this community and the devs. Through this forum or through the Matrix channels, people will engage and help you resolve your issues.
I will try not to say too much about Manjaro, other than I really take some issue with how they run some parts of that project. It is not a distro I generally recommend. I like the idea behind it, just not some of the decisions and missteps they have made.
While I cannot promise you that you will never experience any issues, if you decide to move to Solus, I can tell you that if you do have issues, you will get help.
