Cant delete files in trash

I have 2 directories in trash that wont delete and I guess I am not smart enuf to do it..lol

Dont want mess something up if I try it from live os if it will even do it

this happened to me with directories last week

I had to sudo mv -rf /where/directories/are/ [to] trash:///

in fact I could not delete the directories to move them in the trash.
how you got two in the trash I don't know.

mv might not be the command for you. probably sudo rm /path/to/directories would be better

brent Ya had do root I dont remb where they were from or what I was doing
they are gone now.

mine was weird (of course). Far left pane of nemo is your typical /user folders with attached drives shown, etc. Trash lives there as you can see.

Right of that is your /home proper. Imagine my shock when I saw another Trash folder there...
But my /brent Trash on the left had different stuff in it than the /home trash on the right.
In the /home trash were two directories I "deleted" that weren't in the /brent trash.
WTH? Two trashes?

I botched something but I don't know how.
Had to root MV the /home Trash + the directories inside it into the /brent/Trash....this took a long time to figure out. But it worked.
Eh.
