Sync Updates for Week 29, 2025

So far so good on my old Core 2 Duo machine. 190 updates and all seems well. Waiting for file transfers to finish on my i5 Box so I can update. I am sure it will be fine.

issues.
Mine does not happen all the time.
Have only seen it on Budgie as just started using Plasma

Guyk5685 I'm on the GNOME flavor and I see this message every time I shut down the system. Relatively fresh reinstall, so assumed it's just how Solus does things, given that contrary to other distros it doesn't use Plymouth to hide startup and shutdown related messages.

Guyk5685 I have the same but for long time now, but doesn't stop the switching off of the system, it's there and like said @paracetamol it's maybe a "no Plymouth" thing
My Tumbleweed doesn't do that and they use Plymouth also I own an SSD (Ext4 FS) + 8GB RAM but my boot is kinda menu > blank > blank > Login screen and takes like 30sec ... no only on my laptop but also on 1 of my desktops at office.
Maybe something the team can investigate but as I said everything works, just for non technical person it may look scary at some point

Kernel update fixed the boot issue with my Nvme driver - again. Also, the Plasma update looks great. I always keep it as a backup for my smooth Xfce.
