Scooter Interesting. I did a new install yesterday and I see I have a 2.1MB of free space ahead on my EFI partition on a 1TB drive. I'm sure there is a technical reason if anyone knows.

I never know when a reboot is necessary or not, so I almost always reboot after an update. With an SSD it takes so little time that it's not a nuissance.

I only shut my PC off while we are at Lake Balaton in summer.
