iPhone file transfers

Does anyone know how to get Nautilus to mount the iPhone file system appropriately? As of right now Nautilus ONLY mounts the Documents on iPhone (where I can access the apps) and iPhone (the pictures) folders

but transfering files to the phone results in an error. I have to use the ifuse command in the terminal to mount the iPhone appropriately and get the Books folder etc that one expects. I also tried to use the imount command in the terminal, which I found from libideviceactivation referenced in the Solus Apple Help Section, but I get gvfs-mount command not found

Also, I'm transfering 10GB of videos to the phone @2MB/s which is torturous. If anyone has tips on how to increase the speed please do tell 🙏

Wasn't that maximum speed of lightning cable? It is USB 2.0 speed if I am not mistaken. You can try others method maybe via WiFi or Local Network, we have a few apps for it like Warpinator, LocalSend and Rymdport.

cornbean This seems to pop up quite often. Success seems to depend on how old the Apple device is. Some options that might help you were previously discussed here.

There is an app called localsend which is also available for iOS. You need to have this app on both devices and can then send files over your wifi from one device to another. (both devices need to be connected to same wifi)
This might be a good alternative.
