Double sided printing on HP printer - second page upside down

Good morning. I did some printing this morning of a .pdf file using double sided printing (flipped long edge). The second page is upside down. Printing the same document under Ubuntu works correctly.

Any suggestions?

This is probably not the same bug as the one billy_vivo is seeing. While the symptoms are the same, HP printers have their own drivers.

billy_vivo, are you using hplip, the HP Device Manager software?
In your printer settings, what do you see for the driver (it might be called "Make and Model"). For my HP printer, for example, I have "HP Color LaserJet Pro M478f-9f Postscript (recommended)"

You have to use doubleside printing on long side, not short side

AlphaElwedritsch I have tried both options with the same result: the second page is upside down.

Axios I looked at most of them all kinda solved.
What I'm seeing working: going wireless, and exploring print settings a little deeper to make it work. I read about 5 threads so far, none are about drivers specifically.
I will read some more (I typed in "2 sided" and reading from there).

banger had a silly question/thought that probably had been answered but I missed it: do you get the same results with a usb cord?
If the answer is 'no' then that would be interesting.

Dont work with USB that is what the Canon2 filters are for which needs a maintainer.
