Lonsfor I believe that removing a few older pairs of 'initrd' and corresponding 'kernel' files would make space for the new ones. You can find the solution in the Solus 'Search Forum'. 😄
I did the same thing after this update (also reported out of space) and it worked.

Thanks I looked through Dolphin settings a couple of times but it never occurred to me full width status bar would bring it back. Now solved.

Citfta First a little background. Sometimes when I use Discover for my updates I get a message update failed and something about a language entry missing. If I wait a few hours I can then do an update with no problems.

Solarmass maliit-keyboard was installed today on my Budgie system, but I can't run it from terminal. Seems useless, should I uninstall it?

I'm pretty sure there's an issue open on the KDE bug tracker for this, but I don't have a link to the specific report. I'd recommend searching their tracker for "chrome" or "chromium", the bug had the word "seconds" in the title as well. It was related to kwallet, which I see in the output you posted. I'm glad you were able to resolve it.

First, your /boot partition is only 489.00 MiB and should be at least 1GB, as others have mentioned. You'll need to increase it's size.

In the meantime, see this for instructions on how to remove old kernels properly to free up space and allow the kernel update to succeed.

Just boot from Solus Gnome ISO, run gnome-disks, resize (shrink) your / partition for 1 GB, move it to the right, resize (expand) your boot partition, and that's it. At least that I do when is needed.

Make BACKUPS before you do changes to your disk.

Solus doesn't have an official guide, but there are ones on the Internet. A web search should turn up a few.
Whatever guide you follow, make sure you have backups of your data in case the worst happens.

This morning, Discover notified me of a system update to install, but it failed (see below):

I recently encountered this issue during a previous Solus weekly update. I wasn't able to retrieve the error code, but I was able to resolve the issue by running the update through the Solus Software.
I haven't done so yet, but if you have any terminal commands you'd like to ask me, please do.
If not, please let me know when to run this update through the Solus Software.

TLDR? Just run sudo eopkg ur --force in Konsole. Discover will then run without any issues.
This issue looks like it will be fixed very shortly and is being tested in Solus Unstable.

I just had to go through the User Indicator applet to restart the system to install the update, because the “"Re-démarrer pour installer les mises à jour maintenant" (Restart to install updates now) link didn't respond.

Cherry-picked thunderbird 138.0.2 the security advisory is not available atm but seeing it shares its codebase with Firefox I assume it is related to those critical CVE's.

Hello, I would like to inform you of several problems that have arisen following the last two updates.
Firstly, with the keyboard, you can no longer use upper case and arrows to move around in an Excel document, for example, or upper case and the “enter” button. You have to deactivate the “shift” key every time. This makes typing more laborious. I think this happened with the penultimate update.
Then, as a user of the “DOLPHIN” file explorer, the information on the size of the hard disk or the disk connected to the computer no longer appears in the bottom right-hand corner. This incomprehensible disappearance means that each time you connect a disk, you have to right-click to obtain this information.
Finally, in the context of installed software, I've just discovered that the audio converter no longer launches either by calling up the application in the menu or by selecting several files directly.
Do you think these elements could be restored?

You need to change a setting. 'Configure Dolphin' -> 'Interface' -> 'Status & Location Bar' Change Status Bar from 'Small' to 'Full width'

Thank you for your work, but I think 5600 mentioned in the Known Issues doesn't fit here because
1‒I'm not on KDE/Plasma and 2‒I can't get maliit to work at all.

Issue #3400 better applies.

Gossar Not sure if this is what you want to do but this is what I did on Plasma Wayland to use Maliit keyboard.
I ran the following commands to install Maliit virtual keyboard and enable the built-in QT Virtual Keyboard to be available at log-on.

sudo eopkg install maliit-keyboard
echo "[General]" | sudo tee -a /etc/sddm.conf
echo "InputMethod=qtvirtualkeyboard" | sudo tee -a /etc/sddm.conf

Enabled it from System Settings
System Settings>Keyboard>Virtual Keyboard. Then select Maliit
