Qtractor from repo does not respond to keyboard shortcuts

It's not a big problem since I solved it by installing the Flatpak version, but:
The version of Qtractor from the software center doesn't respond to keyboard commands (for example, SPACE to play, Del to delete, and so on).
On the other hand, the Flatpak version works perfectly. Could it be missing some library or something similar?
It works fine on Debian, so I assume it's an issue that only occurs on Solus.

Pressing space and a few other (pre-defined) keyboard shortcut works just fine on my machine. I am on Gnome Wayland. What DE are you using? X11 or Wayland?

Step to reproduce on KDE Wayland:
1) install qtractor via eopkg
2) drag and drop an mp3
3) press SPACE on it. 🙂

This might be a package configuration problem. I've installed Qtractor on Plasma and dragged an mp3 file to the file list.
When I press Space, it attempts to start the track but I get an error

the audio/MIDI engine could not be started

Make sure the JACK/Pipewire audio service and the ALSA Sequencer kernel module (snd-seq-midi) are up and running and then restart the session

Make sure there aren't other things also set to use Space as a keyboard shortcut
System Settings - search for shortcuts
In the shortcuts, search for space

Do you have any other shortcuts set to just use Space?

You're right, but that's another error due to the fact that jack/pipewire aren't running.
When Qtractor is configured correctly, you can press play with the mouse or hit the spacebar, for example. But this only works on the Flatpak version... Probably some configuration issue.

Anyway, it's not a big deal.
The Flatpak version works perfectly.
