elfprince I would like to 'jump the wagon' and start using OpenVPN, and just found out that I need a VPN provider, which is a paid service. Which are your favourites and why? Thank you for your thoughts. :-)
[deleted] I am sure that there will be many opinions & suggestions, so i just want to link to this article: https://www.comparitech.com/vpn/vpn-logging-policies/ Plus a couple of video's: Hope that this will be helpful to you.
Justin Beware of all VPNs especially free ones. Your information while secure from certain outside parties is still visible to them as you pass information through their network. I use PrivateInternetAcess.
Fatih19 Justin You know what else is secure? Private Internet Access, enter code LINUSDROPTIPS for a 5% discount, check it out in the link below.
Justin elfprince Nord was OK, they (at the time) just couldn't provide enough bandwidth over the VPN for me to continue using it (100mbps).
[deleted] Have not tried NordVPN but they are often mentioned, and usually get some good reviews: https://restoreprivacy.com/best-vpn/
Emperor I am gonna leave this from privacy tools: https://www.privacytools.io/providers/vpn/ And you can watch any videos from Techlore about VPNs- he particularly reviews NordVPN Here is a particular video about VPNs in general:
elfprince Sorry, this dude should learn to speak to a public audience. And the music in the background is very distracting. Too bad.
alanwake82 I was searching for good vpn for more than a week and now finally found one. I usually use the vpn for streaming movies and shows, some time for browsing as well.
