Drawing fails to start

Hi Guys
can't get working drawing on my plasma system.
system is running with latest updates...Kernel 6.12.12-313.current

After a reboot I get more informations:

Update 2

Starting my plasma session with X11 instead of wayland, it works.

For me, means, I cannot use it, because I don't want to switch back to X11 such for one app...
Using kolourpaint now. is also very simple and has the further advantage that it is KDE native and not gnome UI

AlphaElwedritsch Interesting. I'm going to look and see if I can find the issue.

Unfortunately I couldn't figure it out (for now). I'm not seeing any issue reports about it, but I guess most people use it on GTK-based desktops and not Plasma.

All good. Thanks for your efforts. As you say, it's a GTK tool and for Plasma kolourpaint is also a good alternative

Crashes like that are likely something the software developers would need to address. If you look up drawing in the Solus Software Center (or Discover), you'll see an icon for "Report Issues". You can use that to report the crash to the developers.
