A big thanks to both of you! I have been trying for a couple of months to find a distro that would run Orca. I right clicked on the file and selected properties and made it executable. When I double clicked on the appimage the program opened right up and seems to be working just fine.
I have been trying for a couple of months to find a distro that would run Orca. And if you do some research online there are very many people that can not get Orca to run on Linux. Before when I have followed the same steps I just used the program either would not start or started and crashed.
I don't know what the Solus devs are doing but they apparently really know their stuff. I use a lot of technical programs and so far every one of them have worked perfectly on Solus. I think I may have found my permanent distro.
