WetGeek I can't wait to find out if I can connect a BT keyboard to an Xfce machine now.
The laptop I ordered arrived several days early, and I installed Xfce on it this morning. I tried to configure it as a daily driver - i.e., the way I've configured previous Xfce editions - but I had little luck with that.
There are serious regressions in the panel configurations (icons that can't be moved, spacers that can't be placed where they're needed, an unwanted feature that can't be removed, etc.) These are all things that worked well previously, but I spent 2 hours this morning trying to duplicate my previous Xfce configuration, and could not.
Obviously, this is a work in progress, and if someone's actively working on the Xfce panel now, there's not much point in my writing up bugs for these. They'll be very obvious. But if no one is already working on it, I'll write up issues as time permits.
Oh, and by the way, Bluetooth is still fsck'd. I was able to pair and use my mouse, but although Blueman told me my 5.1 keyboard was paired, connected, and trusted, I still can't type any character with it. Nothing new here.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I installed Xfce from this week's snapshot.
