plasma-browser-integration-host closed unexpectdly

This is a problem I posted about before, but it's been a while since I've seen it happen. Today I added a new streaming host to my YouTube TV subscription, and when it didn't show up immediabely in the channel lineup, I shut down Vivaldi and restarted it.

Now it shows up where it should, but this has returned:

The "Restart App" button does nothing. The "Report Bug" button launches this:

Any construtive suggestions appreciated!

EDIT: More info ...
I noticed that Vivaldi was cherry-picked three hours ago. Perhaps that has something to do with this issue? I also noticed that it affects both stable and snapshot, in case that helps with a diagnosis.

EDIT: Even more info. I used Firefox for the previous edit, but afterwards I tried Vivaldi one more time. I'm happy to report that the problem seems to be solved now. Thanks to whomever is responsible for that!

Thanks. That's how I knew that it was cherry-picked three hours ago. I wasn't sure who found the root cause and fixed it, but I appreciate anyone and everyone who worked to resolve it. I was already tired of Firefox. 😄

yeah I don't know the dev who patched it personally so I guess that person needs to be credited, true.

I stopped using Firefox about 2 months ago and did not tell anyone. For me it was just getting harder and harder to use and manage. LibreWolf and Mullvad pick up the slack nicely and I have had no need to reinstall and use it again.

I'm sorry you and Firefox broke up. I know you'd used it for a very long time. For me, it was just the lack of features that led me to prefer Vivaldi.

Any time an application in Plasma crashes, and Dr Konqui appears, you should use the Developer Information (backtrace) in it to file a bug with KDE at https://bugs.kde.org

Unfortunately, I see the Send Automatic Report is greyed out. It looks like our version of kcrash is old, and I've submitted a package update request.

In the meantime, you can still use the info in "See Developer Information" to file a bug report with KDE.
You'll need to install devel packages to get a good backtrace (and see less lines with ?? in the Developer Information). For more information, see
