MikeK61 I never had any sound issues on Plasma since 2022. I imagine it is based on the sound chip in use.
lf-araujo MikeK61 It is and it has been fixed in the latest current kernel. I did not notice because I was running lts.
banger My sound works on Plasma with 6.10 kernel but I do get the odd crackle when loading webpages with video on Firefox as if the the chip is initialising.
lf-araujo I am on Gnome. The issue was fixed by switching to the new current kernel. Have you tried that? I was on lts before.
TraceyC You might try checking the KDE forums or their bug tracker https://bugs.kde.org to see if others have the same issue. This might not be specific to Solus.
