I am saying is even if I hit ALT, go into View here, and check the Menubar box...in days it will become unchecked and menu will disappear. my settings get thrown out the window every 4-5 days. Never in my Solus life have i unchecked menubar box. something is, though.
That can't be normal. In addition, folder view defaults (see list view is set for every folder) are forgotten all the time. A folder like Documents, for example, set for list view, that I go into every day, all of a sudden opens in Icon view. It forgets what I marked all the time. I never hit CTRL+1 for anything.
Nemo getting real real squirrely for me lately. Not my thread, though. I have had devtracker open an hour but have not got around to sifitng thru it for anyone with similar issues. after dinner.

EDIT: a handful-- maybe 5 out of about 200 DDG results were about Nemo not preserving view settings, preferences, defaults, and all the way back to 2011 and none solved. "Why the hell do I always get the weird ones? Every. Single. Time."
EDIT: 2 pages of nemo issues in devtracker. None of them are regressed-preferences related. Sucks. Seperate thread to come.
