Hello everybody.

I'm wondering if there's an alternative to KDE's System Settings? As it for now the icon is to small for my eyes and to be frank it's a bit of a mess in my opinion. Difficult to navigate through. That is one thing I miss about Gnome though.

SethStorm666 it's a bit of a mess in my opinion. Difficult to navigate through.

Believe me, it was much worse before Plasma, before the 6.x series. It's much better and more intuitive now. Much fewer submenus
    😉

If you offer so many setting options, down to the smallest detail, then you have to put them somewhere.
    that is a challenge.
especially if you have to integrate them further into the existing system
and that is exactly what gnome does not want.
the extreme on the other side

it's possible that dconfcan do a few things the settings can't do but unsure scaling is one of them. Open it and see.

Oh well ... then I'll check dconf and see if there's some magic there 🙂

AFAIK dconf is for gtk desktop right? I don't think it will work on Plasma, they store settings differently.

Bummer. Though I can live with System Settings as it is or I have to. But it would be great if the people behind re-valuating it with a new concept.

alfisya eh. in gtk/gnome we have two El Jefe's that supersede Budgie System Settings. Gnome-control-center is of course gnome but I always errantly thought DCONF was common across DE's and agnostic. I am wrong.
@SethStorm666 sorry for the point in the wrong direction. I try hard to be accurate. Harvey is right: nothing, then. there might be some odd github app that tweaks kde..all I can think of
