As for me, I installed Gnome Software Center.
What I do: when Solus Software Center
notifies me of updates, I process them in this application; then, I look in Gnome Software Center
and it happens that it proposes me some (often, system updates) and I validate them.
Is this the right way to proceed or should I only use Gnome Software Center
now?
I also noticed that, whether for updates or to install new software, I did not have to enter any password.
Another thing: I recently installed the Nvidia System Monitor
application; however, I noticed that it installed an obsolete dependency: org.kde.Platform
(version 5.15-22.08 -> end of life) while there is another one (version 5.15-23.08) ; so I uninstalled this software.
