mouse_AUS With all the huge updates between the current install iso and now (i use plasma so a transition from 5.27 to 6.1), are there any plans to update the iso? I have a few new installs coming up and all the updates will be a bit tedious.
murbert mouse_AUS Updates will be over a gig 3 weeks after a new ISO lands. They don't really get much bigger after that.
EbonJaeger There are, but usr-merge complications have made releasing an ISO problematic, because eopkg will falsely report broken packages due to symlinks. We want to get that all sorted before we release a new ISO.
mouse_AUS OK I will be patient :-) I realize there will always be updates with a rolling but with the big version jumps if I am having to do fresh installs I like to start with the base closer to current, and Plasma is a big update with major changes.
Staudey Yeah the Plasma 5 -> 6 transitions is certainly something that will be nice to avoid with a newer ISO.
