Hello,

Do you know the Floorp browser (https://floorp.app/)?
I am testing it. It is fast, very secure and efficient.
For the installation (Unless you see another way?,) you have to download the . zip file on the site, decompress it, move the folder in/opt (sudo mv floorp /opt.)
Click the floorp folder in/opt, click the floorp file. The browser opens in the taskbar. You can fix it on the bar.

The Japanese coders behind this project took our good old red panda (Firefox), they painted it well kawaii, added tons of incredible features and paf, it makes Floorp!
Already, question customization is the top since you can change everything: the layout of the tabs, colors, themes, and even put special themes according to your OS! Want to put the tab bar down? Go ahead! The title bar bothers you? Hide it! It’s YOUR browser, and you do what you want with it.

Then, let’s talk about privacy. Here, Floorp brings out the big game. Strong trackers blocker, fingerprint protection, very fine controls of privacy settings. And most importantly, unlike a certain browser that starts with Google and ends with Chrome, Floorp does not spy on you and does not resell your data to advertisers. It feels so good!

In terms of performance, it’s also a monster. Faster than Firefox and Chrome on benchmarks. Lighter too. Looks like he’s running on Redbull!

Here, to test.
Thank you for your feedback.

It is also available via Gnome Software and KDE Discover (from Flathub). I personally don't use it and just sticking to plain Firefox. Cheers!

I use it. Flatpak is pretty good.

    Hello,

I installed Floorp by passing the flapak.
    Everything went well.
However, I have a problem in the settings which tells me that :
"Your browser is managed by your organisation."
But I'm not in an organisation. It's just me on this PC.
When I click on this sentence, this is what I get:

I see that I can't set Floorp as my default browser or do any updates.
How can I disable these two functions?
I tried to uninstall flatpak, but when I reinstalled it everything went back to the way it was before.
    Thanks for your help

Even the creators said security was not their aim when they designed it (I don't have link). But it's Firefox--it will have a lot of stuff enabled you have to disable. It's not in the ballpark of Librewolf for security. not even close. But anyone who uses FF knows you have do a lot of that yourself so it's not a big deal.

It's gorgeous---they rounded the corners, changed everything, and made it look like a modern, vibrant Chrome. It's really stunning. They got some innovative thing going on with the tabs.
      Lots of bells, whistles.

This is common in Chrome too and is a result of some setting in about:config, or even settings. I've lived with it before. There is no outside organization managing your Floorp but it is freaky. I wish I knew how to un-do that. I've chase the link they give for this but got nowhere. Some policy. Used to drive me crazy.
